Delcam’s reseller in Mexico, TCM, is to hold a series of User Meetings during July. The Meetings, which will be the first to be held in the country, will take place in Monterrey on 13th July and León on 15th, in both cases at the campus of the local ITESM university, and in Mexico City on 16th, at the ITAM university. In each case, presentations will cover developments across Delcam’s complete Power Solution software range and show how they can provide users with more cost-effective methods to take complex-shaped products from concept to reality. |

Delegates will have their first opportunity to see the new version of Delcam’s PowerSHAPE hybrid modelling software, PowerSHAPE Pro. This offers a complete solution for designers of complex shapes such as those found in the footwear, packaging and electrical appliance industries, by combining the speed and ease-of-use of solid modelling with the design flexibility of surface modelling. Unique functionality within PowerSHAPE Pro includes a range of powerful morphing commands for whole model edits of CAD models and the embossing technology that is at the heart of Delcam’s Total Modelling approach to design. On the manufacturing side, particular attention will be given to new strategies available for high-speed and five-axis machining in the PowerMILL CAM system and to the latest release of the PowerINSPECT inspection software. The new range of adaptive machining techniques available through the integration of PowerMILL and PowerINSPECT will also be described. “We regard User Meetings as an important part of the support to their customers that is provided by our resellers,” commented Delcam’s Latin American Business Development Manager Pedro Leon. “With the current rapid rate of development in our software, they are essential to ensure that users are aware of the latest features and how they can be applied to increase productivity and profitability.” For further information on Delcam’s Power Solution CADCAM software,
